The house currently has the second lowest energy efficiency rating: F. Our goal is to reach an efficiency rating of A and reduce our annual CO2 emissions by over 40 tons annually.

To do this, we’ll need…
Energy efficient, double-glazed windows,
An electric heat pump (one of the most efficient ways to warm the house);
Double-flux ventilation (to pre-heat the fresh air entering the house);
Insulation on the ground floor, front and back façades, and the roof;
and other renovation.
